WEST HOLLYWOOD - As Mr. Sulu on "Star Trek," George Takei's fantasy mission on the "Starship Enterprise" was "to boldly go where no man has gone before." This morning, the 71-year-old actor literally went where no man had legally been, at least in California. He and his partner of 21 years, Brad Altman, applied for a marriage license.
