Island Oil & Gas plc announces that the Minister of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands has awarded the Q13b Exploration Licence to Island Netherlands B.V. ("INBV"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Island, and Aceiro Energy B.V. Island, the designated operator, will hold a 100% working interest in the Licence.
