Sam Alston of Mobile finds himself in a situation that will be shared by many Alabama fishermen this year. When Alabama changed validity dates on fishing licences in the same law that increased license fees last year, it forced many fishermen like Alston to have to buy two licenses in the same year.

About the fishing licenses I think that they should have
waited before they change the cost of the licenses. And change the cost on August,31,2008 . Because my licensee
expire in April 2008 so I and went ahead and bought the $21.00
saltwater licenses to stop from getting a ticket. I feel
that we should have vote on the cost and the date.
