NEW YORK (AP) - American International Group Inc. said Thursday one of its units obtained a retail life insurance license in Qatar. AIG's life insurance subsidiary, American Life Insurance Co., obtained a permit from the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority to sell life insurance.
