Tatung Company, a long established producer of electric home appliances and consumer electronics in Taiwan, is reportedly interested in investing in Asia Pacific Broadband Telecom (APBT), an operator of fixed-line and mobile communication services in Taiwan, for cooperation in WiMAX business operations, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
